James G. Palmer Appraisals Inc. has been a trusted name in valuation services since 1965. Based in Fresno, we proudly serve clients across California and now South Dakota, offering expert appraisal, consultation, and valuation services.

As a three-generation, family-owned firm, we are the oldest singularly held appraisal company in the San Joaquin Valley and among the longest-standing in California. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES & PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS

Jim, Gregg & Josh all hold general certifications from the State of California with Gregg having a general certification in South Dakota as well. Both Jim & Gregg hold MAI designations, the highest professional designations offered through the Appraisal Institute. Jim also holds the SR/WA designation from the International Right of Way Association and the ASA designation from the American Society of Appraisers.

Expert Advice

Not all appraisers are equal. Appraisers who hold professional designations (such as MAI) have greater knowledge, experience and qualifications than an appraiser who merely holds a state license.
